Prep Me

First impressions are very important and that’s why, most often, agents will recommend staging a home prior to going on the market. But staging frequently needs to go beyond the obvious. What happens if a prospective buyer peeks into your closets or kitchen cupboards? Might they think you’re moving because you’ve run out of space? Often that’s exactly the message that’s delivered.

Before you list, deeeee-clutter!

A cluttered home will chip away at value, room by room. So much so, that a buyer might not even consider making an offer if the home “feels” too small and disorganized. There is no down side to de-cluttering before you list. You will add perceived value to your home, and you will likely save money when you move.

Stage Right offers complete de-cluttering services. We’ll help identify the potential problem areas in your home, and will estimate what it would take to de-clutter your home so it feels more spacious to your prospective buyers.

When we go to work, we’ll take everything out, clean everything up, replace that which should go back, and let you decide what you’d like us to do with the balance: store it or toss it.

All you have to do is point. We’ll do everything else.

Stage Right also offers you a convenient storage service. We’ll professionally pack anything that needs to be “edited” out from your home, and store it in one of our two climate-controlled, insured locations in Leaside. During transportation our insurance will cover your possessions.

Then, once you’ve moved into your new home, we’ll promptly deliver your stored possessions back to you when you’re ready for them (applies to new homes in the Toronto area only). If you’re moving outside of the GTA, we can arrange with your moving company to have your stored possessions picked-up by them on their way through.

De-cluttering services

When you sell your house, you’re not just selling a building on a piece of property. You’re selling a lifestyle. “What type of life will I have if I buy this home?” is the question every buyer asks as they pass through your front door.

Storage services

Once your home has been de-cluttered, you’ll often find that there is a lot of stuff without a home: boxes of books, boxes of dishes, boxes of knick-knacks – you get the idea.

Similarly, during the staging itself, a lot of larger pieces don’t end up in the final mix: furniture, accessories, fixtures, electronics, toys, tools, and equipment.

We’ll provide you with a detailed quote for our storage services that you’ll find very competitive because of the efficiencies we enjoy since we’re in your home anyway.

Ask us about our complete pre-sale home preparation services. We can take about a thousand check boxes off your to-do list when you’re in the midst of one of life’s more stressful events – selling your old home and moving into your new one.
