What you’ll be doing
As an Interior Designer for Stage Right, your job will be to work with homeowners to quickly and efficiently create living spaces that delight them and that meet their specified needs (“staging-to-stay”). Your responsibilities may include some or all of:
Design Management
- Identify and analyze client needs and goals, budget parameters, sand project schedules.
- Visit client’s premises to review existing conditions and make required measurements.
- Develop presentations for client approval.
- Estimate project costs. Provide cost estimates to the client for approval.
- Collaborate with professional trades (e.g. electrical contractors, architects, painters, flooring installers).
- Advise clients on the selection of colour schemes, layout, lighting, furniture, floor coverings, curtains, paint, wallpaper and hardware products (e.g. curtain fittings).
- Review and evaluate projects on behalf of clients, during implementation and upon completion.
- Supervise and coordinate the installation and arrangement of furniture and furnishings.
- Undertake direct selling of furniture, art, rugs, window treatment and accessories.
Purchase Orders / Shipping / Receiving
- Submit and track all purchase orders.
- Assist in the managing the receiving and delivery of all client furniture orders.
Project Management
- Maintain financial records for each project in a manner that facilitates management reports.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting on the financial activity of individual projects.
- Provide information to clients about project progress.
Qualifications
Education
Although there are no standard education requirements for an Interior Designer at Stage Right, all applicants must possess a creative design sense and space perspective. A degree or diploma in design is an asset. You must also possess the ability to articulate your ideas and suggestions in a manner that is confident and professional.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
The ideal candidate will have experience in:
- Space planning
- Selling flooring, furniture, window treatments
- Sales and customer service
- Project Management
- Will have a valid driver’s license
Proficiency in the use of computer programs for:
Microsoft Office, including Outlook
Internet research and browsing

10 years of work experience, ideally 3-5 in an industry related environment

What you’ll be doing
As a Home Stager for Stage Right, you’ll be part of a fast-moving team which transforms homes into remarkable living spaces for the purposes of helping real estate agents sell the home more quickly, for more. Your job may include some or all of the following:
Staging
- Perform “walkthroughs” of prospect homes for the real estate agent and/or homeowner.
- Take pictures of the home in its “before” state.
- Develop, on the spot, a staging plan to increase the perceived value of the home. The plan may include some or all of: furniture, lighting, art, accessories, window treatments, rugs, linens, painting, cleaning, repairs, and renovations, depending on the time available prior to going to market.
- Communicate the staging requirements/plan back to the office so a staging proposal can be developed and sent to the prospect within 24 hours of the walkthrough.
- Once the staging is confirmed, tag the required furnishings in the warehouse to reserve them for the staging.
- On the day of the staging, organize the inventory for loading on the truck. Assist in loading.
- With team, deliver furnishings to staging home. Assist in unloading of truck, as required. Transform the home as per the plan on the staging day.
- Follow-up with the customer after staging to ensure customer satisfaction with the work. Address any deficiencies in a timely manner.

- Must be able to work effectively in a very responsive environment where requirements may change on a moment’s notice.
What you’ll be doing
As a Mover/Driver for Stage Right, you’ll be part of a fast-moving team who transforms homes into remarkable living spaces for the purposes of helping real estate agents sell the home more quickly, for more. Your job may include some or all of the following:
Move-in/Move-out
- Report to the Operations Manager.
- Pick and pack inventory and load trucks according to the day’s staging plan.
- Drive a truck to the designated staging property.
- Unload the truck and place furnishings within the staging property, as per the lead Stager’s instructions.
- Assist in hanging art and draperies.
- Perform small repairs, such as patching nail holes in walls, as necessary.
- At the completion of a staging engagement, return to the staging property to remove all Stage Right furnishings, according to a picking list.
- Return to the warehouse and re-stock inventory, as required.
- Clean and maintain the Stage Right warehouses.
- Clean and ensure maintenance of the Stage Right trucks.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
The ideal candidate will have experience in:
- Furniture moving and packing or related experience
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Excellent driving record
- Large vehicle experience
- Must be healthy and fit

Takes direction well: The Mover/Driver will report to the Warehouse Team Lead for all aspects of their job. On a staging project, Mover/Driver will take direction from the lead Stager.

- Will be generally mobile all day.
- Will be required to lift, pack, and unpack heavy furniture and furnishings.
- Must be able to work effectively in a very responsive environment where requirements may change on a moment’s notice.
- Will have to drive large vehicles in Toronto traffic.
